Hope & Friendship Stay Safe Face Masks
The Hope and Friendship MBCF provided the support group members with compliant face masks to help them stay safe during Covid-19!
Pink Patch Program
The Wilmington Police Department is hosting the Pink Patch Program to support the Hope and Friendship MBCF! Each patch is $10 and can be picked up at the Wilmington Police Station during the month of October! Please consider purchasing a patch to honor a loved one, as a souvenir, or a gift to help us support our patients with our FREE programs.
Welcome to the Board, Marissa
Marissa is an ABA Teacher for children with Autism. She graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with the concentration of developmental processes and women’s studies. Her aunt, Heather, was diagnosed with Metastatic (Stage IV) Breast Cancer (MBC) and she joined the board to support her and others living with MBC.
Welcome to the Board, Mary
Mary holds a degree in English from Framingham State University and is currently a Project Administrator for a Site Contracting company in Wilmington MA. Mary, a new member to the board, has been a friend of founder Heather (and her husband Tony) for many years and is eager to help wherever is needed. Mary knows many women and families that have been affected by Breast Cancer, and considers it a privilege to help out in any way she can. Mary and her husband live in Wilmington, MA, and have two grown children.
Now offering VIRTUAL support group meetings for patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer during COVID-19.
Meetings are online, every other Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. starting August 20th.
